Signs you are eating like an adult woman (and not an adolescent)

Many women are still taking on an adolescent attitude toward eating which may have worked okay in our younger years, but is not helping us grow and mature into confident adult women, which can feel sad and discouraging.
Signs you are still taking a “younger” approach:
You keep trying trends, hoping for a big change
You expect a static arrival point with your eating
You comply to rules, but don’t FEEL anything below the neck
You anxiously restrict your eating
When circumstances aren’t perfect, you throw in the towel, give up, binge eat, or fall into a shame spiral
You focus on compliance/being a “good girl”
You don’t trust your body
You neglect your body
Life gets smaller due to your fixation on eating/not eating
This is no way to live. Let’s do better than this and be great examples to our daughters, sisters, friends, and fellow women.
This is the direction I guide my clients:

You feel more immune to diet gimmicks and trends
You understand diet & eating is an evolving process
You’ve learned what works for your body
You don’t anxiously restrict and micromanage (because you don't have to)
You can tolerate the ups and downs of eating without feeling defeated, giving up, or binge eating
You focus on nutrition, nourishment, & satisfaction - you care about this
You have done the huge work of listening to and trusting your body
Food becomes a supportive detail in life, not a fixation
It’s time to bring Self-Respect & Dignity back to our eating.
Let me know if this resonates!
