November Workshop: Shadow Work - A Path to Psychospiritual Wholeness

Updated: Nov 9

In the culture-making process we sort out our God-given characteristics into those that are acceptable in our society and those that need to be tucked away.

Whether we like it or not, when hidden or pushed down long enough, these parts begin to take on a life of their own and make

themselves known by way of our relationships, recurring problems and patterns and addictive habits, physical symptoms and illness, and countless other ways. Positively, our shadows also hold the most beautiful and "golden" aspects of our being we have yet to take ownership of.

The late Jungian Analyst, Robert Johnson, says "owning" the shadow- accepting it as part of one's self- is seen as the first stop toward wholeness, the best a human being can strive for.

Join Laura Burkett, MA, for a 3 hour workshop exploring the architecture, healing, and life-enhancing quality of shadow material. For all working the healing arts and all interested in their own psychological development and healing.

Please bring a notebook and an open mind.
