Friends, Fall marks the seasonal shift from hot and humid to hot and dry. To support the body:
1.) Take special care to keep the body well hydrated with plenty of water and water rich foods. Sipping hot/warm water throughout the day helps too.
2.) Opt for more cooked veggies (over an excess of smoothies and salads)
3.) Tart apples help purge excess heat from the body after the hot summer months. Eat them up. They’re here for a reason!
Bless your October! One of my favorite months. I’m picking up the Mutsu Apples I’d mentioned not long ago in mid-October …but who’s counting?
